I can’t remove the filter off the pump 😫😭😫 it’s super tight! And I have arthritis, any suggestions how I can get it to unscrew? Could I spray it with wd40? Help!! 😅

So I tried to get the water out of the clay too early and now I just have a dirty pillow case and a LOT less clay than I did beforehand. I’m going to wait 24 hours next time I attempt to purify clay because even if it’s something small, if I care about it, I feel very sad when I do something to mess it up, or do something to ruin it entirely. I’m just licky I have anything put back into the container at all. Moral of the story: when it comes to unga bunga don’t rush it. Even if you don’t think you’re rushing it. Don’t.

HELPFUL HINT - If you're getting error code indicating drain issue or pump failure, remove the water pump while you're cleaning filter and hose. I cleaned the filter (which really wasn't dirty or clogged) and the hose and still got the error message. I repeated the process but removed the water pump the 2nd time. After removing, I disassembled the water pump by removing 3 screws that held pump together. Inside the pump, I found the culprit. A thin nail was preventing the impeller from rotating. I reassembled, and all is perfect again.

What I used to do, particularly in a new city was before venturing out for the evening get a felt-tipped pen and write on my arm the name of the hotel , my room number and which floor it was on so I communicate that to the taxi driver when I wished to return.
